Coulter Partners announces new appointments in London, the US and Germany
Global Life Sciences executive search specialist, Coulter Partners is delighted to announce continuing growth across the company in 2021. The London team expands with new Associates, Lucy Webb and Ana Delgado, Research Analysts, Jacob Taylor and Liam Fryer, and Director, Carina McEntire. In the US, Ayn Teigman is appointed Associate in New York and Irlanda Almendarez joins as Senior Research Associate in California. In Frankfurt, the team is strengthened with Sonia Keim, Associate and Katja Färber, Senior Research Associate.

Irlanda Almendarez, Senior Research Associate.
Irlanda’s focus is senior international executive search execution and research across the breadth of Life Sciences. Most recently an Associate/Analyst with the healthcare practice of Spencer Stuart, Irlanda draws on three years’ experience in clinical and corporate executive search and a further five years in healthcare administration with a Fortune 500 health insurance company. She also brings experience of search for non-profit and for-profit healthcare services organizations and professional experience as a Business Analyst within change management and workforce management teams. Proficient in Spanish and fluent in English, Irlanda holds a BA in Anthropology from UCLA and is graduating in 2021 with her Master’s in Public Health, Health Policy and Management from the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health.
Ana Delgado, Associate
Ana is engaged in senior global research and search execution across Life Sciences, covering the whole drug development cycle. Ana draws on over four years of senior executive research and business development experience, with an international remit, before joining Coulter Partners in 2021. Most recently a Head of Search, Ana brings strong transatlantic expertise and seven years of previous global experience in sectors including education, training and legal. A native of Mexico, Ana holds a BA in European Studies from Royal Holloway University of London and is fluent in English and Spanish.
Katja Färber, Senior Research Associate.
Katja executes senior international executive research assignments across the breadth of Life Sciences. Most recently a Senior Research Associate with Korn Ferry, Katja draws on 5 years’ experience in international executive search for Life Sciences, with a strong focus on EMEA. She brings additional professional experience gained primarily in sales for the hospitality sector and marketing in FMCG. Fluent in English and German, Katja holds a degree in Online Marketing from HSB Akademie Leipzig.
Liam Fryer, Research Analyst
Liam’s focus is data analytics and reporting, database management and research assignments for international executive search across Life Sciences, with an emphasis on R&D. Liam draws on work experience in the hospitality sector and brings strong data analysis and critical thinking skills gained at university. He holds a BSc in Biomedical Science, First Class Honours, from the University of Kent.
Sonia Keim, Associate
Sonia is responsible for business intelligence delivery and visualisation of industry relevant information, in addition to senior global executive search execution and research across Life Sciences. She draws on four years of business economics consulting in the banking and automotive sectors, before joining Coulter Partners in 2020. Most recently a researcher in the economics department of the University of Würzburg, Sonia brings a strong background in research, business intelligence and data/new markets analytics. She holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Bonn and is working towards a PhD in Economics at the University of Würzburg. Sonia speaks German, English, Malayalam and Spanish.
Carina McEntire MBPsS, Director
Carina is focused on board, C-suite and senior global executive search across biotech, pharmaceuticals and medical technology, with an emphasis on R&D and commercial roles. Most recently Managing Partner and Founder of Biopharm Search, Carina draws on over 25 years’ international executive search experience in life sciences, working with diverse clients from virtual, venture capital backed companies to multinational, publicly traded commercial stage organisations. She brings expertise across a range of technical functions including CMO, CDO, CSO, CTO, VPs (Discovery, Preclinical, Clinical, Medical, Regulatory). With native Swedish and fluent English, Carina holds a BSc in Psychology from Westminster University, London, and an MSc in Organisational Psychology from City University, London, and is qualified to undertake leadership and psychometric assessment.
Jacob Taylor, Research Analyst
Jacob executes research assignments, data analytics and market mapping for international senior executive search broadly across Life Sciences. Jacob draws on a year’s experience as a Recruitment Consultant with a specialist professional services consultancy and brings strong statistical analysis and research skills gained at university. He holds a BSc in Zoology from the University of Manchester and a MSc in Animal Behaviour from Manchester Metropolitan University.
Ayn Teigman, Associate
Ayn is responsible for senior global executive search and execution across the breadth of Life Sciences. She draws on seven years’ experience of senior recruitment, research and business development for Life Sciences gained with specialist international executive search consultants, before joining Coulter Partners in 2021. Ayn brings extensive sourcing and candidate development expertise and a previous seven years of administrative experience as a Senior Paralegal with a high asset law firm. She holds a BA in Political Science & Theatre Arts from Florida State University, Tallahassee.
Lucy Webb, Associate
Lucy is focused on senior level international executive search execution and research across Life Sciences, with an emphasis on chair and non-executive director roles. Lucy draws on 20+ years of executive recruitment expertise gained with global multi-sector search firms including Odgers Berndtson and Egon Zehnder, before joining Coulter Partners in 2020. Most recently Senior Researcher for the Chair & Board Practice at Odgers Berndtson, Lucy brings extensive experience of working with public companies, privately owned companies, including both PE backed and family businesses and international corporations. She holds a BA in Politics from the University of Portsmouth and a post-graduate diploma in Information Science from City University, London.
