Automata Appoints New Chief Financial & Operations Officer
Pete Shea’s strategic expertise will help accelerate Automata’s next chapter of growth
London, 23rd November 2022 – Automata, the leading robotics and automation company that enables sciences labs to fully automate their workflows, today announces the appointment of Pete Shea to the position of Chief Financial & Operations Officer. Pete joins the fast-growing automation leader from Skyscanner, and brings experience from other global brands including Amazon, Babylon Health and Sony.

At a time when laboratory space, time and talent are at a premium, automation can unlock the potential of labs, by eliminating repetitive tasks and empowering scientists to focus on accelerating science. Pete joins the company at an exciting time of growth following successful Series B funding earlier this year, as well as partnerships with leading NHS trusts to automate laboratory spaces.
